Sir Clive got together a group of players who could achieve the biggest win possible, unfortunately he could not get together a group of RFU officials who would know the best way to run English rugby on the back of the win. This has been our problem, not sorting out with the premiership teams the right amount of access to players and looking at the sheer number of games per season leading to knackered and niggled players. Think NZ will take some beating but it is what happens at the world cup which is important not inbetween. The All Blacks are running the risk of what we did, coming off the boil at the world cup, we managed to string it out for another week.
But i have to admit would rather be in your position than ours at the moment, are you sure the all blacks do not have a legion of english grand parents? . . .
